I am the new owner of a 2014 Sierra 1500 SLT. Truck has bed rail cover and a liner and I am wanting to install tie down hooks on top of the bed rails. I bought 4 from the GMC dealer and the front two went in without any problem. Cut out the recess area and hooks tightened just fine.
The back post areas are a different shape with an area I was told was for a hand hold. Before I start guessing at what is under the rail cover, any ideas on how to install the other two hooks?
Dealer did not know.
