Tranny issues...still

After searching this forum for solutions to my tranny problem, i replaced the boost valve, 1-2, 2-3 & 3-2 control solenoids. And of course tranny filter. After i put the pan back on & filled her up with approximately the same amount of fluid i lost during repair, i now have a transmission 'lag', that is she doesn't want to move right after i start her up. Its been cold up here in the north east lately (10 degrees or less) so i let her warm up for 10 minutes or so before heading to work. Once i have driven 8 miles or so, all seems to be running fine. I am positive i put everything back together correctly, may have added just a little too much fluid though. Any one have any ideas as to what is going on?

Is there any fluid leak from the front of the transmission???? If there is, the front pump bushing may have walked out and your going to have to replace the converter also if the hub is scored.

Your front pump may also be going bad and will need to be replaced. Check the transmission fluid level with the engine off, then start the engine and recheck fluid level. If level does not go down when engine is running, the pump is broken. Once it been running for a while and the level has gone down, then the pump is on its way out.

No fluid leaking as of yet, guessing not the problem. How difficult is it ti change pump & how much is one and where can i get one?
