Transfer Case mount cracked

Hi Guys noiticed a rattling noise when going over a bump or pothole....Over smooth roads no noise.....I thought it was my transfer case shield vibrating, went underneath and took a look and the transfer case mount has a crack in it ..............Can this be fixed by welding??? or do I have to put a new transfer case in???? Forgot to take a pic to give a better visual....will take one tomorrow
