Sorry for the goofy title, but I can't think of another way to describe this.

Now...a little background: A while back, I had a fuel pump problem that Molsen nailed as a wiring problem....but, before finding that, I had replaced a whole bunch of stuff, including the ignition module, cap, plugs, wires, TPS...you name it.
Anyway, after my fuel problem was solved, then my transmission started to act up. It shifts fine in all gears going up, but when it goes between 3 and 4 it waffles between the two if I am at the top of the pedal (you know...an easy acceleration scenario) If I tromp on the accelerator, it drops to 3rd, accelerates, then shifts into 4th normally as I ease up on the pedal. If I maintain that eased pedal, it waffles between 3rd and 4th. If I shift into OD, it does the same thing with 4th and 5th.
At the lower end, it does the same thing, but not as often.

Now, this transmission has been great until I had that little fuel pump problem, so I was thinking that maybe I bought a faulty TPS...but I don't know. I reset the ECM by turning the ignition to ON....removing the two ECM fuses...waiting a bit.....then plugging them back in and then starting the truck. I thought maybe it was just in need of a reset due to all the new junk I installed.

The transmission fluid is a bit High.....well...A LOT high, but then it has always been high since I bought the truck, so I didn't worry about it. But, I am heading off to the auto parts store to get a new filter and fluid and I'll change that out this morning. But I was wondering if there was something else to check.

This waffling has me worried that the tranny is failing and I can't afford that sort of thing.

Thanks
