Hi, I'm new to the forum since this is my first GMC but have been a GM buyer since 16.

I was wondering if anyone has tuned their 6.2l motor with a chip or other any other method that you could recommend. I looked into a supercharger but $5k+ is too much since I just bought the Denali. Any input would be helpful.

Thanks, Smokehd

If your vehicle is under warranty, I would not get it tuned or add any performance products.

Once my vehicle is out of warranty, GOOD BYE AFM!!!!!

Smoked,

I have a 2012 Yukon Denali with a 6.2L. I added a Jet programmer and a K&N cold air intake. It was a great improvement and increased the mileage by 1 mpg.
Also pulled the cork off the 100 mph speed limiter.
The next step is to put a 4:10 gear set under the rear end.
You are on the right course though with the supercharger-if you have the money, its the way to go!!

Hobo is right about the Chip and K&N kit, but,,,,,

Dont bring to Dealer with that Chip still in! Keep old chip handy! And be advised the K&N Cold Air Kit I did on a Pontiac 5 years ago made a LOT more engine air intake "roar" noise on hard acceleration. Also had to use Premium gas for good results. Just be a"dvised that its a "cheap" boost indeed compared to a Blower, but has drawbacks....

Say, the 2015 is coming out in April!! Has 430 HP and 450 Ft lbs torque! Trade her in!! lol
