I have a 2000 4.8 L ext cab 4x4 gmc sierra. Lately I have noticed my headlights dimming and even the dash/radio with it. Usually it was sporadic and I could never identify the source of the possible short. Well today I was driving around and it started getting dark. When it became dark enough for my auto lights to come on I noticed my turn signal indicators where dimly lit. I went to turn and my turn signals wouldn't even work. The lights were on but no blinking. I then cut my headlights off and tried the signal again; this caused the truck to act like I had turned my hazard lights on with both rear and front signals blinking either way I turned the signal switch. Also when I did this my dash would also flash in unison. Does anyone possibly have a idea what could be the issue??? I'm afraid I will have to take the truck to the dealership with this one and I don't have the $$$ to spend for that...

Any help is appreciated guys, thanks!

have you ever had any battery and battery charge issues, engine starting issues?
whats the climate like where are?
how often do you wash the engine compartment?
any heater core issues?
leaking windshield?
are you getting where I am going with some of this
electrical system is very sensitive to any fluctuations check all electrical ground connections

if your hazard switch is on op of your steering column, try wiggling it. if bad , ebay $10-$20 pulls straight up & out.

First, I would check all the ground connections...at light sockets, chassis to engine etc...It sounds like a grounding problem to me.
