Turn Signal Speed

Installed some LED tail lights on my 95 GMC K1500 SL......
All turn signals work fine until I turn on headlights....then I get a super fast blinking on turn signals - like a strobe light !

Any ideas ?

The easiest method to fix hyper flashing is install an LED flasher module specifically designed for LED bulbs. Just ask the parts store for the right flasher unit for your Sierra.

Well, according to parts man ( and the instructions on package ) this method is only suitable for use of LED bulbs in the OEM fixtures. I have complete taillight assembly that has some kind of resistor built in.....Im gonna buy the module anyway and see what happens. Im still confused as why this strobe light effect only happens with headlights on.

I was talking to dealer parts counter about installing aftermarket led turn signals on the mirrors. He started talking about "resistance" and other electronics that I didn't understand, but I understood enough the mixing led and non led would create problems.
