Hey guys hows things going?
I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 4.8L 4X4 automatic and it has about 180,000 miles on it and the tranny is slipping. It's being really sluggish, revving up higher than usual before shifting, when it does finally shift it takes a bit to climb the MPH, and SUCKING up some gas.
Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Because I don't want to fork out the money for a new transmission. But if it comes to that, I'm definitely throwing in a 6 speed.
