I am looking to upgrade the stock radio in my 2007 Sierra......It has the base radio with am/fm/cd player/mp3...It is not a bose premium radio and it does not have XM satellite capability, or so I was told but it has the satellite antenna on the top of the truck...Go figure....

I would at least like to upgrade to have access to XM satellite radio but would really like to have the navigation radio...

Can I upgrade to a nav unit or other OEM unit with xm capability and simply unplug the existing unit and plug in the new unit or does it require rewiring or additional adapters, etc.......

I would prefer the OEM radio(s) compared to the aftermarket radios......

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.....

your best bet and price wise if it was me. Would go to best buy and get one with all the toys in it. There very nice and mount and look just like factory.

put one in my wifes explorer with a amp and all new speakers, has nav ,XM satellite , back up camara, and its all touch screen bottons it's cool.
Now my total cost was 900 bucks but i went over board (i just do that but i see someone once a week for that problem)

go have a look cost nothing to look good luck
