I have a 2014 sierra crew cab that vibrates when traveling at highway speeds. Tried force balance but didn't help. Tried tire rotation.... Same issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have same issue. Dealership found the gears in the diff were built wrong and have since requested a whole new diff. I'll let you know if it fixes it.

1. If the tires are out of balance then the steering wheel can shake. This vibration starts at around 50-55 miles per hour (mph). It gets worse around 60 mph but starts to get better at high speeds.
2. Sometimes brake rotors can be the cause of shaking. If your steering wheel shakes while you are braking then the problem could be caused by "out of round" brake rotors. This vibration can also be felt through your brake pedal.
3. Another common problem that can cause shaking is when a brake caliper sticks on. When this happens you will experience a vibration through the steering wheel starting at 45 to 50 miles per hour. It will get very bad the faster you go, and you will also smell a burning odor when you stop.

I have the same problem. Dealer said they are ordering a new ring and pinion. Are you getting the whole differential or just a new ring and pinion? Thanks

Do a little research - it's a known problem with 2014 Sierras (and Chevys)
Doesn't appear that GM have a fix for it yet, but dealers are trying everything, seemingly to no avail!
I've got a 2014 Sierra, but mine is OK.

I had the vibration problem on my 2013 2500HD, it turned out to be the Yoke on the Pinion was cast out of Round, Dealer replaced Yoke and vibration went away. Not they replaced everything one part at a time until the Yoke was found to be out of round. I hope this helps. Dealer was very Great to work with, didnt try to blow me off at all. they took my complaint seriously. Great folks at Gwatney Buick/GMC in Arkansas.
