We have a 2008 Acadia. When driving in rain above 60 mph rain comes in the front door seals. There is no wind noise and the dealer said they can't find anything wrong. I didn't see anyone else reference this in older posts. Any suggestions.

Acadia Leaking

During a long rain storm, my wife's Acadia started leaking. Seemed like it could have been a door seal or an issue with the sun/moon roof. Anyway, it was neither. On the roof of the Acadia are two plastic strips that run lengthwise - front to back. If you pop the strip up, you can see a seam in the roof metal. In our case, that seam was not sealed properly on the passenger side. Between the front right corner of the moon roof, and the front right corner of the windshield roughly. Anyway, I applied a bead of a quality grade of windshield sealant on the metal seam, and pushed the strip back in place. Being careful to not apply too much - to prevent a mess. Have had lots of rain since, and no leaks. To determine where the leak was, required two people. One person outside with a hose, and one inside the Acadia with a flashlight. It is necessary to pull the Acadia headliner back on that corner - to see the area in question.

Yup, sealant should take care of it. But i think dealer should have at least tried to locate the leaks and seal them for you.

I have read an article somewhere that this issue seems to be a common problem with Acadias. Glad to hear that you have solved the problem.
