Recently I've noticed water sloshing in the rear of my son's 1998 Jimmy; seems to be in the left rear quarter panel. I remember when shopping for this Jimmy I noticed this same thing in another one we looked at. I'm assuming there is a drain plug somewhere but haven't been able to find it?

Also, any thought on where the leak is? Thanks!

sloshing sound in read end

I've recently heard the same sound in my jimmy too. I have rust above the rear drivers side wheel and in one spot there's an actual hole. Maybe that has something to do with it?

A rust hole would be an easy spot for water to get in for sure; but ours is rust free so not the cause of ours. Did you happen to find a drain hole to let the water out though?

Look at your fuel gauge, I have the same thing when my tank is low and I take corners it's just the sloshing of the gas in the tank going side to side. No worries that's what I would think. It doesn't do it when it's full tank but when it's low it happens in corners. Let me know if this helps.

I'll have him keep the tank at 1/2 full or more and we'll see. (We've had a lot of rain recently and haven't noticed it so this could be it-- sure hope so anyway!!) Thanks for the tip.

i just bought new wipers & was testing them out i noticed the rear washer wasnt squirting water so i filled washer container as the owners manual says tried it again after about a minute i noticed water dripping from my rear window on the inside. i think gmc routed the washer line through the roof u may have a leak like me just not exposed.

Mine does that as well I just never fill it all the way or park on steep hills, the washer fluid hose is short so I have to get an extender for it that's what O'Reillys said.
