Could be, there is a lot of things related to the lights. Charging, emmissions brakes etc. Have the codes scanned to find out the problem is. Here Oreilly's have a scan tool to rent or buy one. 96 and newer it is cheap for a reader. 95 needs special equipment and older need an obdI or jumper the test terminals on the ADl. Or take it in and have it read. Don't wait too long it might be serious.
