I've got a 2017 Sierra All terrain 5.3. The other day I hooked up to my travel trailer, retracted the jack, and drove off to park at my storage lot. Was 12 degrees out and I was not watching as closely as I should have. The jack slightly bottomed out for a split second when it retracted all the way. At the time I didn't think anything of it, as I let up on the retract button almost immediately. Maybe it overloaded and fried a fuse. When I got to the storage lot, my jack wouldn't extend/retract on truck power. Had to use a hand crank. Later I put batteries in my travel trailer and the power jack works just fine. Also, when I'm on truck power my travel trailer running lights/signals/brakes work; it's just the jack that won't on truck power. I checked the fuse guide and don't see one for a trailer jack. On fuse block guide I see fuses for trailer lights, parking lamps, etc (#1,2, 15, 16, 63). What am I missing? Reading something wrong?

on my 5th wheel, if there was no battery in the RV, the power jacks will not work, I believe the ground for the jack is separate and needs to be connected to the rv battery ground to work,
