I barely bought a truck yesterday and it turned on and everything was fine with it. As i was driving for about 35 minutes the tuck completely shut off, and didnt wanted to turn on. i put gas on it and it didnt work, so i check the battery, but that wasn't it. i towed it to my house, and it still wont turn on. does anyone now why it could be?? thankss!!

You could have a faulty ignition switch, you can test this by tuning your ignition switch to the on position and with a Volt meter, test the lead to the transmission, ECM and Accessory Fuse in the fuse panel.

If you are not getting any power to anyone of those fuses mentioned above, you most likely have a bad ignition switch and will need to be replaced. Oh and make sure that your ignition switch does have power going to it. ;)

Good luck and keep us posted.
