what is the code P0171 on Envoy 2002 ?

P0171 is a lean condition. There is No MAF to clean cause your Envoy has none. You DO have a MAP sensor whose data should be examined with a scan tool. If you can get a scan tool that can look at stored data in the Freeze Frame memory, you can see what conditions were like when the code was set.

Typically, clogged injectors can do this, treat them with http://www.seafoamsales.com/. If it only happens at high RPM, could be fuel pump going bad. Look at the O2 data in real time with a scan tool and see if the O2 sensor has gotten lazy and slow to update. Also look for vacuum leaks and loose vacuum hoses.
