Well as i said, i have a 1990 GMC Sierra that has a chevy 350 small block that is all stock... I really want to get a new cam in it that will help boost all around performance (but more off the line) that wont do too much to my mpgs which is currently only about 12mpg but im slowing building that up with replacing parts...
So i need to either know what the stock cam would be or what a good cam would be to install

If you have a technical question regarding GM High Performance parts please email us at customerservice@GmPartsDirect.com.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not have information on “how to” install parts on a vehicle. We only have technical information that GM supplies us for all GM High Performance parts available in this catalog section.

10134334 - Hydraulic Roller Tappet
This hydraulic roller tappet is used on the 5.7-liter H.O. engine assembly for ZZZ through ZZ2 engines. Use with spring P/N 10134358. The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 336/336; duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 235/235; and maximum lift with 1.5:1 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 480/480. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 114 degrees.

If you don't understand what the specs are in the Camshaft and what they will do. Just tell your engine builder what you want to get out of the engine, if your going to try DIY on building your engine. Good luck to you.
