hi guys/girls, I need some help and I'm hoping someone will chime in. I have 96 sierra 2500 my trans is going down 2-4 clutches are shot. my cousin gave me a 95 caprice classic with the lt1/4l60e, will the 95 trans work in my truck? will I need to swap any solenoids?

from what I can gather all I need to do is swap the 3-2 down shift solenoid but should I just swap valve body and all solenoids? the trans is coming out of a 95 9c1 caprice classic.
