What tachometer should i get on a 1990 GMC Sierra?

I have a 1990 GMC Sierra that has a 5.7L chevy 350 small block and i am looking to get a Tachometer for it.. But i have no idea anything about it, should i actually get a specific one since ive heard the RPMs dont go that high or does it even matter?
If you know the max RPMs it would go, please tell, im kinda curious now.
