What would be the best speakers for a 95 GMC Sierra?

I have a 95 GMC Sierra 1500 with the speakers starting to go out on them. I don't really know much about speakers but from what i can tell there is only 4, 1 on the door on each door and 1 right beside where my head is on both sides. I was wondering what speakers should i get and what size would fit and all of that stuff.

You can get a lot of info about replacement speakers and head units from Crutchfield.com. They have a section titled 'Outfit My Car' that lets you select your year/make/model, etc and it will tell you what sizes of speakers will fit.
They do a very good job of making the selection process as easy as possible.
I personally like Pioneer equipment, but to be honest pretty much anything you put in as aftermarket stuff is going to be better than the original.
