Whats the best way to drain the coolant in a 2010 GMC Acadia?

In a big hurry (in the freezing cold) I put about 1/2 gallon of non-freezing washer fluid into the coolant recovery tank! A stupid mistake... Should I drain the entire radiator and add new Dex-Cool that the owners manual recommends?

Just unplug the overflow tube at the bottom of the recovery tank and flush out with water and then refill with 50/50 mix with water and Dex-Cool.
