Good question. I know the 2011 HD's were merely upgraded where it matters most - frame and drive train components. Exterior sheet metal is the same as the '10 models.
I read a few weeks ago that GM has the 4.5L diesel back on the menu for the half ton trucks, and it might be an option on the 2500 series as well as it puts out the same numbers (300hp, 520tq) as the old 2001 6.6L Duramax diesel. If anything GM might consider a redesign in 2012 once they have some money to work with. That's providing upper management doesn't mess around again..
