Where is the fuel sending unit on a 1995 gmc jimmy?

Need help to locate the fuel sending unit on a 1995 gmc jimmy. I was told it could be under the seat where most are located
I was told it could not sure though

I'm pretty sure it's not under the seat. The sending unit would be in the fuel tank.

You fuel sending unit "fuel Pump" is located in your gas tank and your going to have to drop the tank to access it. The Fuel filter is located on the driver's side on the inside of the frame by the drivers door area. If your having fuel pressure issues, start with the replacement of the fuel filter and then the wire harness to the fuel pump. Make sure the harness is not damaged and that the ground wire which is on a separtae wire lead has not corroded off before you go dropping the gas tank to replace the fuel sending unit "fuel Pump".
