I have a 2001 GMC sierra, 5.3 V8, 4-WD, SLT, extended cab, short bed truck. I want to make it sound more aggressive, but I'm only 16 so money is tight for me. I was going to get a cat-back exhaust system, but it's too expensive for me so I just decided to get a new muffler and I can't decide between a maganflow or a flowmaster.

Decide further! The Dynomax Ultra Flow Welded muffler gives a very deep rumble that doesn't transfer racket that vibrates the dash and upolstery out of the inside the vehicle. Go to their website and listen to every muffler they sell. The choice is yours.

If money is tight, you can pick up a Cherry Bomb vortex muffler. They have a aggressive sound to them and run around $70.00. :D http://www.cherrybomb.com/

The most aggressive muffler your going to get would be the Flowmaster super 10 series single chamber muffler and i believe they go for around $70.00. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/

Start with those two if your looking for the aggressive mufflers, I had Flowmaster 40's on my Jimmy and went with the Magnaflow to give it a different tone which i find not to be as aggressive.
