I want to first time posting. I hope this make sence to all you. I would like to replace the suspension on my 2003 Envoy SLT 2WD. I want to buy the parts that will give me the the most comfortable ride possible but I don't know enough about car suspension to order the parts that fit my needs. I am not using the my SUV for off road or Hulling anything i.e boat. Therefore I would like to stay away from anything that lifts my SUV. There is a slight knocking coming from the front of the SUV when I go over choppy bumping roads. I think I might need to replace my shocks. I notice that when I go over short hills it does not keep bouncing so I don't think I need springs. However, I think I might need a sway bar because when I take turns there is a noticable amount of lean when I take turns. I use to drive a infinity FX35 which was great in handling. My goal is to come as close as possible to that suspension. I understand that I can't have the same suspension but I would like to come resemble it. My SUV has around 80,000 miles. Can anybody please refer me to the correct parts for my SUV year and Trim?
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you all for reading this thread.

Start with replacing your front and rear sway bar bushings and end links with urethane bushings. The stock OEM bushings are made of rubber and most likely worn out and causing your noise over small bumps and the body roll around corners.

The Front shocks should still be good being at 80,000 miles, but replace the rear shocks with Monroe Reflex Shocks. There two types of Monroe Reflex shocks, Monotube reflex which is gas charged and has a spring rate that helps keep the Envoy from feeling every little bumps when driving around and there is the Monroe Reflex shocks which is more aggressive which most fine to have a more sports like suspension charter like found in sports cars.

Not knowing if your have a rear air side system or a coil system, here is the link for the Monroe Reflex shocks your going to need and will find that the improvements will be equivalent toy our infinity if not better. ;)

Good luck and keep us posted. :D

Molson02536 you mention for me to replace the front and rear bushing but I did not find anything that is label bushing on the link you sent me. Don't forget I am a noob when it comes to car parts. Is this what you meant by sway Bar bushing and end links? Front Sway Bar End Link Kit - Passenger Side Part Number: MOOG-K6665
Manufacturer: MOOG. Do these include the urethane bushings you mention? I need the passenger and driver sides correct so that is one each. correct? I want to buy exactly what you advised me but I know very little about car suspension. Can you match your recommedation with the same words used on the site you sent me. This will allow me to order the parts without hesitation.
Thanks for your help

Oh, I found the rear shocks and I am ready to order them but I want to buy the front shocks as well but did not see them on the monroe site?

Thanks again Dude.:)
