So take it to the track, and put $500 on it.

Otherwise, you both get official time slips, and no one can claim that it wasnt' a fair race, or someone started early, or any of the typical excuses.

The $500 makes it so there's something at stake. If you want to brag about your vehicle, be willing to back it up with cash. Otherwise,you're just having a pissing match.
This also makes it legal, and takes two people off the streets and racing.
Final note: Your SUV has racing tires, also. Any tire can be a racing tire. If you buy a budget tire for $10, and put it on a rally car, it's a racing tire.
So that doesn't matter in the slightest, unless he actually has drag slicks. Which I doubt.
And your 0-60 doesn't mean a thing. There's plenty of vehicles that can hit 60 quick. And have no top end, and very high 1/4 mile times.
