My head lights don't work. My hazard lights work, my turn signals don't work, when i turn my lights on the high beam light goes on, Interior lights work, radio does not work. When i put the key in car beeps (when door open) turn key to "run" nothing happens, turn key to "start" nothing happens, turn key backwards nothing happens. Wtf is happening? 1998 jimmy 4wd 4d

gm has had stupid problems with turn signal switches, also leading in to dimmer switch issues, which sounds like part of your problem. make sure that it isnt in programming mode, which means the fuse is out for the radio in the fuse box or its blown. if the security light is flashing in the dash then the passkey II bullshit could be engaged, check and make sure your key isnt damaged on the little black chip(if equipped) or your alarm isnt set. if that isnt it, then you probably have an ignition relay issue.

Won't start

My truck some times will not start if the shift lever is not all the way in nuetral or park. Take it out of position and put it back again and see if it starts.

There may be a good chance that the ignition switch has gone bad and will need to be replaced. The ignition switch is a multi switch and also control multiple electrical circuit throughout your jimmy, and when the switch goes bad. Issues start as what you have described.

Good luck and inspect your ignition switch, if it has gone bad. Replace it, keep us posted.
