Problem is:
some times when i turn them on, they dont start. So then i have to grab a wiper and force it to move and then they start moving.
Also some times they will just stop working, and i have pull on them and move them to get them started again.
The motor is strong and will work on all the speeds.
And the wiper switch in the turn signal arm feels good and seems to be working.
Could it be a bad rely or a dead spot on the wiper motor ?

thanks

The issue is that the circuit board in your wiper motor is cracked where the wire harness connects to. It's a simple fix if you have a soldering iron and know how to use it.

Re-solder the wire harness clip to the board where the old solder has cracked and you should be good to go. If you think you can not solder it back together again like new, you can just buy the circuit board at Auto Zone i think for under $15.00 and they will have the set by step instructions for you to get the job done.

Here is how it done if your going to try fixing it your self. This is really an easy fix, the wiper motor assembly is on the firewall just right of center. The wiring can be unplugged before the circuit board is removed, or afterward. I found it easier to unplug it after the circuit board was removed.

There is a flat cover that is held on with three torx screws (T20). Remove those screws and remove the cover.

The circuit board will now be accessible. Remove the circuit board by grasping the wiring connector and gently pulling it towards the front of the vehicle. When the circuit board has fallen free, unplug it from the wiring harness if you haven't already done so.

The solder joints that connect the wiring socket to the board are know to g bad on the board. I just re-soldered those and re-installed the circuit board. You can get an entire wiper motor assembly, which included the board from a salvage yard for $40. As mentioned earlier you can just buy the circuit board Auto Zone for around $15.00.

Good luck and keep us posted.:D
