On our 2010 1500 Sierra, the wipers have acted up in the following ways:
1. Sometimes at cold engine start, the wipers start as soon as the engine is turned over, even though the wiper switch is set to OFF.
2. Sometimes after running on continuous mode during rain, the wipers are unresponsive to changes on the control switch i.e. they keep on running, even after being turned off, even after the engine is shut off, even after the ignition key is removed.
3. When the wipers run on as previously described, usually the only way to stop them is to start the engine again, after which they behave according to the wiper switch setting. Sometimes they will stop mid stroke, without self parking.
Have taken the truck to the dealer, who can't find anything wrong i.e. no codes set and everything works normally.
Anyone else experience this problem?
