So I'm about to rebuild my suspension. Went to look at my vin sticker to find out the gvwr on my truck and that's when I realized my sticker is from a suburban. Turns out my truck had been hit before I owned it and they replaced the door instead of repairing it. That itself isn't a problem. The problem is that they didn't swap the sticker. So I'd like to know if there is either another place with the information or something on the truck itself that will give me the info I need. In making the parts list, most parts have the option of 7,200 or 8,600 gvwr and I am guessing mine is 7,200 but I want to be sure before spending money on wrong parts.
the vehicle in question: 1995 c2500 2x4 5.7vv8 ext. cab model# TC20753
6 lug wheels.
Also since it now has been bugging me, does anyone know the front/rear tire psi that is normally on that sticker? It won't change anything since I change the pressure depending on load weight anyways but not knowing is now driving me crazy and it doesn't help that I just quit smoking.
Thank you for any help and I will check back to see if anyone has questions that could lead to answers.
