Yes, you can hook up a gaming system, the power requirements are likely higher than what the 110 receptacle or the 12V outlets with plug-in style inverters can provide. I connected a 700 Watt inverter directly to the battery under the floor of the second row, passengers side. That provided ample power. I also went to the trouble of installing a fuse in-line, very near the positive connection. I went with lugs to bolt the power leads as opposed to using the batty-clamps, which may come loose and shrt out. Not a good scenario in the electronics-laden vehicles of today. I hope you can understand what I mean.
