I am looking for a little advice on my Truck. Any help would be great. I will try to keep this short but it is along story.

I purchased my 2013 GMC Sierra 4x4 Z71 with the 5.3L V8 new in 2013. At 18000 miles approx. I had a check engine light and it started to idle rough. Took it to a dealership and they told me the spark plug in cylinder #1 was bad and they replaced it along with some other minor things like changing a valve cover gasket. I thought no big deal and went on.

Almost exactly a year later at 38000 miles The same thing happened only this time the traction control lights and stabilitrac lights were flashing as well. Basically the same answer from a second dealership (this time the one I purchased from). Spark plug in cylinder #1 was fouled and needed to be replaced, on my dime this time. After arguing a little bit and questing why I was now on my third spark plug they dealer said it looked like the plug was fouled on oil and I would do an oil consumption test.

I started that and was told to bring it back when the oil level was below full. Since they over filled it by at lease a quart (cant get them to admit it and didn't take it back immediately so that is my fault) it took until 3000 miles and it was .5 qt. low. I was told to bring it back at the oil change mark and get it checked then.

So 2000 miles later I took it in and was told it was 1.5 qt. low. Which is out of spec as far as I know.

Then I was told I was going about the test all wrong and need to bring it in every 1000 miles to get it tested. So now I get to start all over.

I was also told I needed at least 5 times of it being low to prove to GM it is an issue.

To me 2 fouled plugs in the same cylinder and loosing 1.5 qts over 2000 miles should be more than enough proof there is something wrong but apparently not.

My question is what should my next step be? Do I say screw it and by buy a new truck or keep fighting and hope that at some point they will fix it?

Me to fouled number one plug heavy carbon build up 52,000 miles . The engines are junk. 2 quarts of oil every 5,000

No fouling but uses oil and is noisy. Knock when cold which gets quieter with warm up. I will never buy another GM piece of crap

Hello, hive! I have a 1999 GMC K1500 Suburban. When I step on the brake pedal, no keys in switch, the dash and marker lights come on. When headlights are off, driving normally, both turn signals work normally, but the dash and marker lights flash with right turn signal. When headlights are on, left signaL works normally, but right signal buzzes a little at the relay, but does not blink, even though the rear lamp does light on the right side. I am at a loss. So is my mechanic. Help??

How did all that work out?
I'm wondering about your preferred PSI for tires.
My mechanic recommended 32 psi for my heavily-loaded 1990 Vandura.
That's what I've used for years (once it was around 36-38, and that felt like I was on rollerblades and could not sense the road . . . ), yet I see videos saying that 32 is way too low and damages tires . . .

(I got 11-12 years out of my tires at 32 psi.)

Thank you for any helpful feedback!

I'm replacing a lower seat foam and leather. The lower foam is attached to a smaller metal frame and is then bolted to the main seat frame. At the rear of the foam/smaller frame there are 2 locating pins that must fit into holes at the rear of the lower seat before the 2 front screws line up with the holes to put screws in. I' not sure what to call them but I need at least 1, 2 would be better, help please.
