Problem with blown fuse in 1999 GMC JIMMY?

Hi,
I have a 1999 Jimmy that for some reason or another, keeps blowing the fuse(labeled #24 if that helps) for the radio, and the overhead thing that gives you the temperature and direction. I have an aftermarket head unit, subs etc but i have never had this problem before. i replaced the fuse a few times but it just blew out later on down the road or as soon as i started the car back up. If you have any ideas on what is wrong, or you can help at all I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
to msc- think there could be a hole or something in the power cord running to the amplifier that would short it out?

Your going to have to rewire your after market radio. Here is the Fuse box information and for the #24 fuse is not for the radio.
