Is it possible for the wheel bearings on the front wheel to completely leave the wheel? I had a weird brake issue where the clip on the rotor broke, along with the ABS breaking off, etc. I got the estimate to fix the brakes, and then today they called and said they needed to add new bearings- very $$$$. Just need to be sure I am not getting taken for a ride. If you are familiar with this situation, what would you est. the cost to replace the brakes on the entire front end, and add the new bearings. Thanks

You may need a new wheel bearing. The speed ring for the ABS sensor to read is on the wheel hub and if that is damaged, yes you need a new hub. Good luck and keep us posted on what exactly happened for you to do all that damage to your brake system.
