Hello my name is Tyler, and i am new to the forums. I couldn't find an answer to my problem so i came here. I am going to apologize now for the long post.

I have a 2000 Jimmy, and i have an upgraded sound system, but i need some help picking tweeters for my jimmy, and i need help with placement.

I currently have Sony Xplod CDX-GT430IP Headunit powering my door speakers, and the front dash speakers.
Dash:Bazooka ELC4602P
Front Door:Pioneer TS-G1643R
Rear Door:Infinity Reference 6022si
Rear Of Truck:MTX JackHammer JH600 Feeding MTX JH4512-X2D

So with this system everything is great except the bass Completely overpowers the highs and mids. I also noticed if i turned it up to much my headunit would shut off. I discovered the problem was that the 3 sets of aftermarket speakers were trying to pull more power then my headunit could take, and would overheat. So i bought a Kenwood KAC-6404 to power the door speakers.

Now with that amp powering the door speakers it leaves the headunit with nothing to power, except the dash speakers. So i am adding 2 sets of tweeters to run off the headunit. My only problem is i cant find a good spot to surfacemount the tweeters.
So Where should i surface mount them, and which set would you guys get?

Infinity Kappa 10.3t Component Tweeters OR Kenwood KFC-ST30
Not sure which ones would be better, but the infinity are $40 more

Stick with the infinity 10.3T since you have the infinity as your rear door speakers. As for placement, i have a set of tweeters installed at the top corner post by the visor of my Jimmy and you can run the wires behind the post panel that's just only held on by clips and pops off easily. ;)
