I have a 1999 Sierra (new style) and I am wondering if it has a factory stereo amplifier? It is a single disc CD player. Thank youu.

Built in to your head unit, unless it's a Bose system.

So I can remove the old HU and put in an after market deck w/o having to bypass an amplifier?

Just have to buy the wire harness for a plug and play without any issues.

Does anyone know if you can put in 6'' speakers in the rear, replacing the 4x6?
