...drive while making a turn? It starts up again, but it has died 4 times in about 2 weeks. I have all new spark plugs(and wires) and a new fuel pump so its not that. What do you think could be the problem?
Could be a vacuum leak.Try spraying ethier over the engine when in park at hoses and away from (if its not still fuel injected)the carb .Listen for change in idle and if yes then there is your leak.COuld be a host of electrical issues but thats a horse of a diffrent color. You said while making a turn so check your steering components for pinched wires.
I would say that you should check the fuel filter, may need to be replaced, you could also have a fuel line that's being smashed shut, make sure that the fuel tank is;nt setting on a fuel line from when they changed the fuel pump.
q? for you while you drive those it feel rough check for any vacuum leaks and hoses also the egr valve, maf air filter if not then mayb could be the crankshaft sensor any more details on how its runing

Here is a link for you to retrieve your DTC codes to hwy your engine may be dieing out. Is mentioned, did you replace your fuel filter and also inspect your ignition system. Sounds like a classic sign of a ICM (ignition control module) going bad on you, there common to give what you have described and the engine will no longer run when it totally fails.
You can have your ICM checked at Auto Zone or Parts Source to make sure that it is the issue and not something else. Good luck and keep us posted.
My '92 was doing the same thing a couple years ago. I replaced the vacuum control relay. It's near the throttle body on the left side and costs about $60.
