vhange oil problem with gmc 08 sierra ?

on the dash bored it says change oil but i did !! and it still says change oil .can u help me pls ?

Turn the key to the on position. Do not crank the motor. After the key is in the on position, quickly push your accelerator pedal down 3 times within 5 seconds.

Next start the vehicle. If you have successfully reset the maintenance reminder, it will not appear again until the next service interval.
