I have an 02 Yukon and I cannot get the rear wiper working, I have replaced the motor and there seems to be power getting to it but I'm thinking not enough. I had heard that there is a wiring harness that runs from underneath the vehicle to the back door, does anyone know where I might find this???

Please let me know

Thanks Mike

The most common issue is that the wiper arm post is corroded and seized. The other is a bad ground to the wiper motor. Make a grounding strap from 14 guage stranded wire. Connect the ground strap under the Bolt head for the mounting of the rear wiper motor to the oposite side of the rubber insulator to make a good ground to the rear lift door/body. Problem solved now the rear wiper 100%.

The motor assembly of the rear wiper is isloated from the body by rubber mounts to eliminate vibration and sound transmission. Adding a grounding strap maintains the sound isolation but adds a ground right at the most needed location (the motor assembly).:D

Good luck and here is a link to your wire harness question. ;)

Similar issue.

I'm having a similar issue. I was wondering if you could post some pictures of the ground location you has chosen. I'm a very visual person, so once I can seen an example, I'll know how to do it.
