2003 GC sierra Brake problem

While driving down the road my ABS light came on. When I shut the truck off I can here a motor running. Under the driver seat mounted to the frame is a part that all my brake line come to. sounds like some kind of pump. Not sure what this think is. Can any one help?

That item is the electric brake control module. There is a rebuilt kit for the EBCM which will cause your abs light to come on.

Do you know if it is possible to remove the module with out removing the pump. Doesn't look like much clearance under there.
