why does my 01 gmc jimmy jerk while im driving?

after hard acceleration it jerks while in motion i don't understand what it could be it runs fine can anybody help me

Could be a misfire in one of your cylinders under load. Plugs or wires.

You may need to provide more information. Jerk is such a general term it is hard to understand what you mean. Does the wheel jerk (left/right)? Or does the car stutter?

Are there any check engine light on the dash when this happens???
If there is, have the Jimmy scanned for the DTC codes and this should direct you to what needs to be addressed in your jimmy's engine.
