is it possible to have 2 idler arms? who knows alot about 91 gmc jimmy?

91 gmc jimmy 4.3L v6 4x4 i had a guy check it out and he said my idler arm was bad so i bought one and had another guy look at it to see how hard it will be to change and he said i have 2 and now im confused as hell to which on i should replace if infact it has 2 idler arms.

You had a Idler arm on the passenger side and take about 30 min to replace. On the drivers side you have a Pitman arm which is connected to the steering box. The Pitman arm takes longer to replace and i believe you have to drop the steering box to use the Pitman arm puller to remove it without damaging the steering box.

Good luck and most of the time, it's just the Idler arm that needs to be replaced. Keep us posted and be safe. ;)
