It looks like I'm leaking fluid all the way at the end of Tranny where it connects to the drive shaft. Is there a seal there?? It also looks like that section on bolts from the rest of trans...( its leaking through ,and on to the driveshaft,, thats what it looks like..) Is just this part fixable?? Or the whole trans needs to come out...Thanx

The seal can be replaced without taking the transmission out and will take about 30 min to do the job with common tools from start to finish.
Jack up the the Sierra and remove the drive shaft, once the drive shaft has been removed. Take the old seal out and replace with a new seal, don't forget to put some transmission oil on the seal before placing the drive shaft yoke back in place (ACDelco #8673526). A good thing also would be is to put some grease in the drive shaft yoke where the spins are, this will take up some space in the spins and make your dive line much quieter when going from park to drive are when the transmission shifts.
Since your are replacing the seal you may want to also replace the slip yoke bushing. INSIDE DIA 1.506-1.504)(PART OF TRANS EXT)(ACDelco #24207915)
Here is a link to the seal and bushing your going to need to replace #33 and #34. Good luck and keep us posted.
Note, you may want to go to the Dealer and give the GM parts department your vin number to insure you have the right part for your Sierra.
