How much should I crank on the torsion bar to stiffen up the front end of my 1500? I am just trying to make it so when I raise my plow it doesn't drop so much.

Adjust both side equally till you feel comfortable to the ride height with the plow up. You can always tune them down again after plow season.

Good luck and remember to replace your end link say bar bushing after the season. ($45.00) for new end link kit and about $16.00 for just the bushings, remember to use urethane bushings. ;)

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually thinking of doing a bunch of work on the front end soon. I'm going to replace the wheel bearings first as their starting to wear. I really want to figure out why when i'm in 4 wheel drive it makes so much of a grinding noise.
