This is a pet project that I still need to get the wife's authorization , but I still want to do my homework. What would be the safest route? I would rather do a supercharger vs turbo. What say you, the educated masses? Happy Holidays!

Turbo charge it, but you do know your going to void your warranty. Your also going to have to custom dyno tune your PCM for the extra boost of air in your intake system. The other issue your going to have is the higher maintenance with a added turbo system and keeping it to a moderate 8PSI of boost to keep it a daily drivers.

If it power you want, try replacing the cam with a GMPP HotCam
218/227 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift 112 LSA. Make sure you get a custom tune if you plan on going with a cam swap so you can get the most out of and have the torque management turned down or off completely. http://www.pcmforless.com/
