The channel for my driver's side power window was rusted and the window fell. I have taken the old channel off and put on a new one without a problem. My question is how do I get the window to sit in the tracks to go up and down? Right now it just sits at the bottom of the door and I can't seem to get the window to seat properly in the grooves on either side of the window. I'm assuming that I need to have it seated properly before I attach the whole moving assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's been a while for me, but the best guys to ask are the Auto glass repair shops. Drop by anyone of them and ask a tech for advice and if you need any parts, good chance they will have it.

Most GM dealer will call a local Auto Glass shop to do there glass repairs, since that's there field of profession and can get the job done in no time.

Good luck and post back any information you can give us. ;)
