What type of exhaust system should I get!?

I have a 91 Sanoma, The exhaust system is pretty near done. I've been doing a lot of research on what type to get and have been hearing a lot to get a specific 4x4 exhaust? If you have any ideas of what type of exhaust to get also what size of pipes to get that would be very much appreciated. I will be running it without a Cad on it, and putting on a flowmaster muffler with the new exhaust. Any tips?

Thanks!

Single exhaust no larger then 2.5 inch pipe. This will help you with low to mid range HP and TQ. No worries bout your high end since you can't do much about your CFM flow thought your heads.

Good luck and keep us posted. ;)

My headers are still good, so should I just go to a muffler shop and ask for a single exhaust with 2.5 inch pipe and to also install the flow? Still a little bit confused :P I'm new to the whole owning a truck thing :)

Headers to the Y pipe in to a high flow Catalytic converter, in to the Muffler. Try to stay single exhaust no larger then 2.5 inch to the back. This should help you 4.3 run nice and give you the most performance your engine can give you.

The cam in the 1991 4.3 (second generation) are best at lower and mid rang RPM so to large of and exhaust without enough back pressure will cause you less performance.
