Hi I have 1995 GMC Sonoma, I recently replaced the water pump, thermostat, radiator, all hoses and gaskets and my truck is still overheating. There is no smoke, no blown head gasket, I was told it could be the gauge sensor? It does not always overheat, it will get to the read and then go back up to normal, then it will fluctuate in the exact middle of 210 and 260. Any ideas?

If you think that the gauge reading is not right. Replace the engine temperature sensor first only if you have verified that the engine is not over heating and that the gauge readings are incorrect.

Good luck and keep us posted. ;)
