Hey guys, i'm new to this forum and i'm looking for help in any way!!!! I have a 2000 gmc jimmy 2 door 4x4, the truck starts but dies imediately???? i've checked the fuel pump, fuel pressure, i even took it to a mechanic and he said everything seems fine! i then tried to reset the security system and still nothing???? please help!

I have a 2002 GMC Jimmy and it does the same thing as mentioned. However, now I can't even start it. The last time I drove it I had to press on the gas and break to keep it running. Now nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Replacing the fuel filter would be the best place to start.
Pretty cheap and easy.

As barks mentioned, start with the fuel filter replacement and then move on to checking the ICM and replacing it if the filter replacement did not address the issue.
