aftermarket exhaust?

thinkin about gettin exhaust for my 08 sierra extended cab not for the noise but for some added HP and maybe MPG. Any truth to an aftermarket exhaust helping these things or should I stick with factory?

Added HP can only be achieved by reprogramming your Sierra's PCM, a good exhaust and intake system helps get you more HP but for the best bang for your bucks. go with the tuning of your Sierra's PCM.

Not a bad price for the chip. I was quoted at 350 at my local dyno shop.
